House of Dreams Silent Auction June 9

Join us on June 9 for an evening of art, food, and wine, all to benefit House of Dreams!

Auction takes place on Saturday, June 9 from 6:30-9:00 p.m.

How the auction works:
Art on display June 4-June 9, 2012.
Bids may be placed anytime during that week.
Highest bidders need not be present at the close of the auction to win (although we'd love to have you there!).

A bit about the art at the show:
It features a variety of styles, and includes paintings, sculpture, jewelry, and prints.
While some of the pieces feature kitties, it is not all cat-themed!
Prices are affordable and the atmosphere is relaxed. We're joining together to have fun, enjoy artwork, and raise money for the kitties.

Plant Sale/Vegan Bake Sale Saturday April 21

This year we are holding our annual plant and garden sale in conjunction with the Worldwide Vegan Bake Sale. Come see us on Saturday, April 21 from 10am to 3pm for plants, gardening supplies and vegan treats! Sale location is 1923 SE 58th (between Lincoln and Hawthorne Blvd).

100% of the proceeds of the sale go to the care of the kitties at House of Dreams.

It's not too late to donate plants and garden supplies to the sale, so if you would like to donate, please call 503.262.0763 to make arrangements for pick-up/delivery.

Limited edition yoyo's to benefit House of Dreams!

We are always so excited when creative, talented people come up with ways to use their gifts to benefit the kitties at House of Dreams. And we're really thrilled about this project--Sniffy-Yo yoyo Video Reviews is creating a limited edition yoyo, with proceeds from the sales of the yoyo donated to House of Dreams.

The yoyos are currently in production, check out the map below (from the Sniffy-yo website), to learn about the process; read about the production of the yoyos (there's a lot that goes into making a really beautiful yoyo) here.

We've seen a mock of the final design, and trust us, it's very, very cool. Only 25 yoyos will be made, retailing for $25 each. Stay tuned for more info as we approach their release date!

There is a parking lot at 54th and Belmont. Entrance to the parking lot is on 54th.

Pretty Kitty Bazaar Nov 12!

Now in it's eleventh year, the Pretty Kitty Holiday Craft Bazaar is House of Dreams' biggest annual fundraiser. The bazaar features handmade gifts for people and pets, a large silent auction, and raffle prizes. Also included is "Second Time Around", our sale of quality pre-owned holiday items.
